Atari was the first video game system I ever had. I remember buying it for the kids for Christmas back in the eighties. The adults had as much fun playing as the kids did on Christmas Day.
I believe one of my favorites was the circus Atari where you had to catch the little man on a board to keep him bouncing, otherwise he hit the floor and splattered. Another favorite was PacMan. I am sure most people remember the PacMan chopping up, I believe energy bars or something like that. Another favorite one was Breakout I think it was named.
These were good games that the whole family enjoyed. When the Nintendo came along I didn’t really care for those games but the kids liked them. I never really played many games after that till IPhones became popular. Like a lot of other adults I played Words With Friends. Farmtown, Farmville and Candy Crush were big favorites for awhile. Now I enjoy playing card games like Canasta or 9Hole which is based on the game of golf.
Playing video games can be fun and relaxing when you can find the time.
